In 2012 Macrossans Lawyers will move to an exciting new location and move into a phase of new work practices and plans. Our new systems will allow lawyers to be lawyers as we reduce the paper shuffling and leave more time for the cerebral. These changes offer better opportunities for a healthy work / life balance for our people.
Macrossans Lawyers has a strong commercial litigation team which manages disputes in specialty areas including engineering and construction, employment and human resources, and, corporate and commercial. There is scope for further growth in the areas of insurance and insolvency.
Legal Secretary - Corporate/Commercial
Macrossans is looking for a secretary to assist a Partner and an Associate working in the area of Commercial and Corporate advice and front end Construction.
You will be confident in your technical skills with a high typing speed and accuracy. You will be accustomed to working with complex documents and be considered a bit of a whiz at Word 2010. You will have gained these skills over the last 4 years or so working in a legal environment.
We are seeking a candidate with stamina and resilience and great organisational skills. A typical day's activities would include:
- all forms of client correspondence
- amending documents
- diary and file management
- filing, bring ups,
- opening and archiving files
- taking telephone calls
