ProBono Success - Assisting Asylum Seekers

Macrossans Lawyers has been successful in assisting asylum seekers detained on Christmas Island. 

Macrossans Lawyers contributes to the community by providing pro bono legal assistance to individuals in need. As part of our not-for-profit program, Senior Associate Alexis Wallace recently flew to Christmas Island to provide immigration advice to asylum seekers.  Alexis assisted a number of men, women and children to apply for refugee status.  These asylum seekers have now been recognised as refugees and given permission to apply for protection visas in Australia.
